Stainless steel offers superior corrosion resistance, making it ideal for applications requiring hygiene and durability. Mild steel, with its affordability and ease of machining, is often chosen for projects where strength and cost-effectiveness are essential. Copper and brass are favored for their electrical conductivity. Plastics

Acrylic (PMMA) is a transparent plastic with excellent optical properties, while polycarbonate (PC) is valued for its impact resistance and clarity. Nylon is favored for its toughness and wear resistance, making it a preferred choice for mechanical components. Delrin (POM) boasts low friction and dimensional stability, ideal for bushings and gears. For applications demanding high-temperature resistance, PEEK is a top choice. Additionally, ABS, PVC, and polypropylene are often selected for their affordability and ease of machining.
